Location

We’re lucky enough to live in one of Hampshire’s most scenic areas, in a county renowned for its rolling downs, chalk streams, beautiful beaches and varied history. Our luxurious self-catering holiday cottages enjoy a peaceful setting on the owners working farm in the hamlet of Ramsdean, within the heart of the magnificent South Downs National Park. Hampshire really does offer some of the best walking country in England, and there are many pub’s to stop by and enjoy some local food, beer and wine!

Hampshire has a rich history. Named ‘Jane Austin country’, you can visit many of the national trust properties that inspired her novels, and even visit the house where she wrote them. The historical Naval Port of Portsmouth (within 30 minutes drive) has many museums tracing our history from Henry the VIII’s Mary Rose to the modern Royal Navy. The medieval city of Winchester, which is home to King Arthurs round table is also just a short drive away.

Whether you’re looking for solitude in beautiful hill country, interested in wildlife watching or interested in the history, our self-catering holiday cottages are perfectly situated for all these and more.
